Nursing Alumni

Since the first graduating class in 1906 research nursing alumni have sought to sustain friendships, preserve our heritage and support the educational mission of the school. Possessing a love of nursing and an appreciation of the rigorous educational experience, alumni play a key role in maintaining high standards for the program.

Nursing education and the nursing profession have continuously evolved through the years, responding to new research in medicine and health care delivery. The one constant and primary focus of nursing has been and still is the care and comfort of the patient/client.

Research nurses continue to be recognized across the country as excellent caregivers. The nursing pin, unchanged in shape and color from its original design, conveys that message to patients and professionals alike.
