Upon admission, students are assigned to Research College of Nursing faculty advisers who assist them in forming a plan of study, selecting courses during registration, reviewing grade reports and completing degree requirements. Faculty advisers facilitate the progression of students through their program of study. Should the student have any issues with academic progression, the advisor will assist the student in reviewing the academic policy.
Once students are admitted, students will schedule a meeting with their academic advisor to get acquainted, and draft a plan of study. All courses taken must have the approval of the Academic Adviser. Students will receive confirmation of registration from the registrar. Students experiencing academic problems may consult their faculty adviser at any time, who will provide support and guidance.
