Welcome to Research College of Nursing
Research College of Nursing is a small fully-accredited private college specializing in quality nursing education since 1905. The College celebrated it’s centennial in 2005. Currently the college offers both an undergraduate Bachelors of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.
The College is located in Kansas City, Missouri and is sponsored by Research Medical Center. The Medical Center is one of several hospitals and health care facilities that compose HCA Midwest Division, a comprehensive regional health care system that are used as clinical sites. The College has access to current state of the art equipment because of this relationship. Classrooms, skills labs, computer labs and library are located in the Medical Center.
The College offers an undergraduate Bachelors of Science in Nursing in partnership with Rockhurst University. The B.S.N. program offers two undergraduate options a Traditional B.S.N. Option for the student without a college degree and an Accelerated B.S.N. Option for the student with a previous non-nursing college degree. Our partnership with Rockhurst University provides a rich environment for student learning in the liberal arts, humanity and science courses.
The College offers a graduate Master of Science in Nursing degree. The MSN program offers six graduate tracks: Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gero Nurse Practitioner, Executive Practice and Healthcare Leadership, Nurse Educator, Clinical Nurse Leader, and RN-MSN. The Post-Master certificates offers two tracks. Executive Practice Healthcare Leadership and Nurse Educator.
