High-Tech Labs and Simulation Centers
Build a bridge from the classroom to the patient’s bedside with state-of-the-art simulation technology. Here you’ll practice procedures in a risk-free environment, using high-fidelity technology to build essential clinical judgement and confidence.
Perfect the fundamentals in our spacious labs designed for small groups. Each lab features the tech you need to make your first day of clinicals feel like second nature. Your learning is supported by the latest simulators, like the Elevate Juno Clinical Skills Simulator and Medicor vascular access task trainers (highly realistic arms to practice IVs).
Experience the full array of nursing environments mirroring the ICU, Med-Surg, and Labor and Delivery. Our suites feature high-fidelity simulators, including four new units from Elevate Healthcare. You’ll also practice nursing care in a dedicated home health simulation setting and work with trained actors known as standardized patients to simulate mental health scenarios.
Encounter high-stakes scenarios like cardiac arrest or a complex delivery in a safe environment. Simulation rooms are equipped with multi-angle audio and video recording. RCoN faculty will analyze your performance with you in our dedicated debriefing rooms to deepen your learning.

Student Support and Clinical Readiness
You won’t develop the clinical skills to be an amazing nurse in a lecture hall alone. You’ll grow and refine them in the hours you spend practicing. We designed our campus to be your ultimate support system:
- Open lab practice hours: Our staff ensures you have access to labs and equipment for supplemental training whenever you need it.
- Equipment loans: We provide items such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes to support your studies.
- Peer-to-Peer skill labs: Work with student tutors and lab assistants in a low-pressure environment to become proficient in any skill.
- Bridge to the bedside: Expert support staff work closely with nurse educators and suppliers to provide materials that are consistent with what’s used in professional practice.
