“You Belong” is a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) series hosted by Research College of Nursing to raise awareness for the RCoN community and the communities we serve. To kick things off, we invite you to join us for the first virtual session!
“The Raising Our Awareness Era” presented by Jamila Weaver, MPA, BSN, RN on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 7 – 8 p.m.
Recognized nationally and among Kansas City’s class of 2023 Innovators and Influencers in Healthcare, Jamila and her husband, Dr. Michael Weaver, founded the nonprofit, Mission Vision Project KC.
Attendees will gain insights and explore opportunities to cultivate the region’s underrepresented health care providers. Plus, you’ll learn how to enhance a sense of belonging within your organization.
