Research College of Nursing has expanded its Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) program across five hospitals within HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City’s leading healthcare provider. As the first DEU program in Kansas City, this unique instructional model prepares undergraduate students beyond the traditional clinical setting and allows nursing students to learn at an exponential rate.

This clinical expansion perfectly aligns with RCoN celebrating 35 years of the BSN program. As the program continues to evolve, undergraduate transfer students will have access to HCA Midwest Health facilities within the DEU expansion, including: Research Medical Center, Belton Regional Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, Lee’s Summit Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center and Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
