TBSN Admission Requirements
The TBSN program provides a streamlined, four-semester path for students like you who are ready to become a patient-centered registered nurse.
New cohorts begin each August. You don’t need to finish all your prerequisites to apply. Our admissions experts will work with you to review your transfer credits.
Requirements for Admission
- Cumulative college GPA of 3.0* or higher
- Completion of all prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better
- ATI TEAS® score at Proficient level or higher
*Will accept a cumulative college GPA of 2.8 if it includes a grade of B– or better in Anatomy & Physiology

Your Two-Year Path to a BSN
Launch your nursing career without a prior CNA, LPN, or ADN. Our program is designed for students like you who are ready to transition into professional practice with a focus on higher earning potential and career mobility.

Is TBSN or Accelerated BSN Right for You?
The TBSN is a four-semester program designed for students who’ve already earned significant college credit (60+ credit hours), or those with a degree who prefer a steady, immersive pace.
If you already hold a bachelor’s degree, the Accelerated BSN (ABSN) can help you get into the field in just 12 months.

Getting a top nursing education should be a realistic investment. That’s why RCoN provides unique financial support to help you focus on your education, not your bill.
The HCA Midwest Health Work Loan Forgiveness program covers a significant portion of your tuition. This exclusive agreement trades tuition support for a two-year commitment to work as an RN at an HCA facility, launching your career the moment you graduate.

For students who began the BSN program prior to August 2026, the curriculum is designed to support the development of strong clinical leaders for modern healthcare practice. Students will:

For students who begin the BSN program after August 2026, students will:

- Engage in the scholarship of nursing to influence and guide practice decisions.
